Q: How does Quality Deck Guard protect wood?

A: It greatly reduces the amount of moisture absorbed into the wood due to the effects of weathering.  The effects of moisture cause wood to crack, warp, and splinter.

Q: Do you need to use Quality Deck Guard on pressure-treated lumber?

A: Yes.  Regular pressure-treated lumber does not protect against moisture or water absorption.  An application of Quality Deck Guard will add to the appearance and longevity of your pressure-treated wood by reducing the normal cracking and splitting caused by weathering.
